Christmas 2013

Christmas was extra special this year with all my brothers and sisters and our families under one roof. We all escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life and retreated to my families cabin in beautiful Bear Lake.

The two major highlights of the holiday included my sister opening up her mission call (to Cambodia of all places!) and talking to my brother who is serving a mission in Taiwan. I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and am so proud of my younger brothers and sisters who are making decisions to share the joy they receive from the gospel with those around the world.

It was a perfect get-a-way filled with our favorite family traditions. Opening PJs on Christmas Eve, reading and acting the christmas story as found in Luke, and watching Christmas Oranges.

Christmas morning was new and special with an almost 1 year old. Blake loved playing with his new toys but couldn't figure out why they were wrapped.

The rest of the day was spent doing a few of my favorite things: lounging in PJs, eating delicious food, and catching up with my family. It was perfect.
