The cause of celebration was the newest addition to our family, my nephew, Bradley Coleman Green. He was born about 6 weeks ago and it so was great to finally meet him. He is so sweet and beautiful. I already love him so much and can't wait until he can play with Blake.
The girls all flew in on Thursday and then the working/student boys + Haley joined us on Saturday.
We enjoyed spending time together eating delicious food, chatting, having picnics, and playing at the park. Saturday evening we left the boy babies with the dads to watch the BYU game while us girls indulged in pedicures.
Bradley's blessing on Sunday was beautiful and it was fun to attend Church all together as a family.
Sunday was also Matt's 26th birthday! After being apart for a few days we were so grateful to be together to celebrate. His main present was some fall clothes we picked out earlier in the week, but I surprised him with a few of his favorite chocolate bars and a card when he woke up a year older.
My mom also surprised him with some balloons and a happy birthday banner at our hotel door. Matt hates birthday attention, especially balloons and banners. My mom has always known this since he was a missionary in my parents mission, but she had a fun time surprising him! And Matt was a good sport.
Matt's favorite sports teams, St. Louis Cardinals and BYU, both won this weekend. I told him I called in those wins as part of his birthday present. They certainly made for a great weekend.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip:
